“Nothing worthwhile comes easy.”

Much too simple, yet more and more true in those things that take people, power, time, energy, resources. But I have to say untrue, too.

Those things that are worthwhile aren’t easy in the sense that there is a path that has many folds and forks, and there are millions of decisions to be made about where and when and how. It’s not easy in that the journey of things worthwhile usually is not immediately visible, and there is no map, no bird’s eye view on which to mark oneself and one’s progress.

But those things that are worthwhile are those things where you can see the result to people. You can speculate the growth and the ultimate wonder-feel of how everything is going to work together. In this way, those things are the easiest things in the world, no-brainers, beats that take place if you’ll just take that next tiny step.

We get stuck on the next right step, and while a noble goal, as long as the choice is firmly rooted in what is good for people, what is respectful, amanipulative, and offering of opportunity for optimism, it doesn’t matter what that next step is. Going out of order is only so when the order is set, and, believe it or not, in the course of life, it’s never set.

So press on. Take the next step and GO.

Here for you always,

Alexandra
